In order to further perform the management and service of international students in the prevention and control of the epidemic, on April 30, School of International Education held a class meeting with the theme of "Popularizing Epidemic Prevention Knowledge and Building a Safe Campus" for international students of Grade 2019 in China through the online network platform.
Starting from the topics of "China's institutional advantages in the context of the global epidemic" and "why the Chinese government adheres to the dynamic zero policy for epidemic control ", and through a large number of factual analysis, the class meeting helped international students fully understand the current epidemic situation, relevant policies and campus epidemic prevention and control measures. The class meeting also explained "whether Omicron is really a 'big flu'", the characteristics of COVID-19, the knowledge of epidemic prevention, and the necessity of vaccination, actively guiding international students to establish healthy living habits, comply with the requirements of school epidemic prevention and control, and jointly build campus safety. The purpose of this meeting is not only to convey the message above, but also to communicate with international students and answer questions regarding the development of epidemic, prevention and control, leaving campus for hospital, HSK test arrangement, and so on.
School of International Education will continue to pay close attention to the epidemic prevention and education management services, the status of students, accurately grasping the situation of all kinds of students, timely care for students, classifying and strengthening academic guidance, daily education and psychological counseling, and thus make efforts to prevent and control the epidemic on campus.
